My Approach
Calm.
Candid.
Sincere.
Effective leadership coaching puts you first. My approach is calm and steady, shaped by more than 20 years in executive roles. Because I know what it’s like to lead, I also know that leadership can be lonely—and that having a trusted advisor matters.
Most leaders I work with aren’t struggling because they lack talent or drive. The problem typically isn’t a skill gap. It’s a pattern. Under pressure, even strong leaders default to reactive tendencies: over-controlling, over-protecting, people-pleasing, or pulling back. These patterns made sense at one point, but they quietly limit what’s possible now.
My coaching helps you see those patterns clearly and build a more creative, intentional way of leading. Together, we’ll ensure your decisions stem from purpose and clarity, rather than habit and self-protection.
For individual leaders, I offer personal, candid, and plainspoken counsel in a steady and judgment-free space, where we’ll consider your choices and turn them into practical, sustainable strategies. And I bring this same steadiness to team coaching, creating a safe environment for productive dialogue, decision making, and follow-through. My goals are simple: I want you to grow into bigger roles, and I want your teams to leave stronger than they came.

Work With Me
Focus.
Momentum.
Growth.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING
For leaders navigating high-stakes decisions, transitions, or growth edges.
I work one-on-one with senior leaders who want a steady, trusted thought partner. Together, we clarify what matters most, strengthen your leadership habits, and build the kind of self-awareness that changes how you show up—not just what you do.
When deeper insight is needed, I use the Leadership Circle Profile™—a validated 360° assessment that reveals the relationship between how you lead and how you think. It’s one of the most effective tools I’ve found for accelerating self-awareness and giving our coaching a sharper, more targeted focus.
Some leaders come with a single pressing challenge. Others want sustained partnership over time. We design the engagement around your reality, not a template.
I work with leadership teams to build alignment, improve how decisions get made, and create the kind of follow-through that actually sticks.
When a team needs more than facilitation, I bring in the Collective Leadership Assessment™—a diagnostic tool that shows how a team views its own leadership culture today and compares it to the culture they want to build. It doesn’t evaluate individuals. It surfaces the collective patterns—the shared strengths and the blind spots—so the real conversation can begin.
Whether the work is a focused sprint, a longer engagement embedded in YOUR team’s rhythm, or an offsite with real accountability built in afterward, the goal is always the same: your team leaves with shared clarity, honest dialogue, and a plan they own.

What Leaders Say
Trust.
Alignment.
Progress.

I’ve known Phil for over 30 years, and I’ve watched him bring clarity, purpose, and heart to every role he’s taken on. As a business owner who’s worked with many executive coaches, I know how rare it is to find someone who truly listens, understands your context, and helps you grow in ways that matter. Phil does that and more for educators and school leaders—he understands the mission, the challenges, and the real impact great leadership has on students, teachers, and school culture. If you’re serious about becoming a more effective, mission-driven leader, you won’t find a better partner than Phil.
